1. Overview
These Terms of Sale apply to all tickets purchased for RUSIQ events, including speaker events, seminars, and functions.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms.
2. Ticket Purchase
Tickets may be purchased through RUSIQ-approved platforms or directly via RUSIQ.
- All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable
- Tickets are subject to availability
- A booking is confirmed upon receipt of payment
RUSIQ reserves the right to set different pricing for members, non-members, and concession categories.
3. Event Changes and Cancellations
RUSIQ may need to make changes to events due to operational, security, or logistical requirements.
We reserve the right to: – Change event dates, times, speakers, or formats – Change venues (including moving between RUSIQ and third-party venues) – Cancel events where necessary
Where an event is cancelled, ticket holders will be offered a refund or transfer.
4. Refund Policy
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase:
- Event cancellation by RUSIQ: Full refund or ticket transfer offered
- Attendee cancellation: Refunds are not guaranteed and are at RUSIQ’s discretion
- Program or speaker changes: Do not automatically entitle a refund
Refund requests must be submitted prior to the event and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Where a third-party ticketing platform is used, their terms and processing conditions may also apply..
5. Transfers and Substitutions
Tickets may be transferred to another person unless otherwise specified.
RUSIQ may require notification of attendee changes, particularly where: – Venue requirements apply – Security or access controls are in place
Failure to provide required attendee details may result in refusal of entry.
6. Third-Party Venues
Some RUSIQ events are hosted at third-party venues.
Attendees must comply with: – Venue terms and conditions – Any safety, security, or operational requirements set by the venue
RUSIQ is not responsible for: – Venue-specific policies or restrictions – Changes imposed by the venue – The acts or omissions of venue operators
7. Security & Access Requirements
Certain events may involve additional requirements, particularly where government or Defence facilities are involved.
This may include: – Providing identification or personal details in advance – Compliance with security vetting or access procedures – Following instructions from RUSIQ, venue staff, or government agencies
Failure to meet these requirements may result in refusal of entry without refund.
8. Conduct at Events
IAttendees are expected to behave respectfully and comply with directions from RUSIQ staff and venue personnel.
RUSIQ may refuse entry or remove any attendee whose behaviour is: – Disruptive – Unsafe – Inconsistent with the purpose of the event:

To the extent permitted by law, RUSIQ is not liable for: – Changes to events outside its reasonable control – Loss, damage, or injury occurring at third-party venues – Attendee inability to attend due to failure to meet event requirements.
10. Privacy
Personal information collected during ticket purchase and event registration is handled in accordance with the RUSIQ Privacy Policy.
