RUSIQ prioritises purposeful connection—linking practitioners, researchers and decision-makers around shared capability, policy and resilience challenges.
RUSIQ conducts Networking Events designed to foster informed, cross-sector relationships among Defence personnel, government officials, industry leaders, academics and veterans.
These include post-lecture receptions, member meet-ups, breakfast briefings, industry–government roundtables, student and early-career mixers, and partner-hosted site visits.
Events are conducted in a professional, non-partisan setting, with an expectation of respectful engagement and, where appropriate, operation under the Chatham House Rule.

Invitations are extended to members and guests; certain activities are member-only or capacity-limited. Summaries or key contacts may be circulated after select events to support follow-up collaboration and mentoring.
